Does it creep you out when an old man hits on you?

I had to chuckle at that picture you posted with this discussion, that old man says the funniest things. I assume that you're a "Family Guy" fan? Did you see the episode where Herbert (the old man in the photo) saw a naked kid walk by and he was like "Holy moly, it must be my birthday!"

As for the situation you're talking about, this is rather scary (you being 18 having a 70 year old trying to pick you up)! I assume that older guys hit on younger girls because they want to feel young again. The oldest guy that's ever hit on me was in his late 30s when I had turned 19 at the time, he claimed that he thought I was older though, so it wasn't a big deal. Once he knew my age he didn't pry anymore..so I respected him for that.

i had a 50 year old guy hit on me,and i was not chuffed.it wasnt that long ago and im 46.had the guy been your age clarissa,i wouldnt have minded.i dont know why older guys do this,but i think its ignorant and disrespectful.it must be quite creepy to be hit on by guys of that age when you are so young.tell them to get stuffed

It happens to me all the time! But I excuse them because ..... well..... guys are naturally attacted to youth, especially if one is beautiful as well. That's a bonus.

It used to frighten me a lot and at times, I'd try to find some excuse to avoid them and run off. But now I realize that most of the time it's pretty harmless.

So enjoy the attention in the meantime. We are all young only once so enjoy it while you can!

Let me help you. Here what you need to know.

1. ALL MEN ARE PIGS. No exceptions. Your boyfriend/husband might be controlling his lust, but that's all he is doing.

2. ALL MEN CAN/WILL FALL. All it takes is the right woman, at the right time, and no immeadiate fear of being caught and down he goes.

3. ALL MEN LOOK. As long as there is breath in the lungs and working eyes in the head, men look.

4. THE ONLY THINGS ON A MAN'S BODY THAT DON'T AGE ARE HIS EYES AND HIS IMAGINATION. 'nuff said here...

5. AT PUBERTY, A MALE's BRAINS SOMEHOW SLIDE DOWN TO HIS GROIN AND THEY DON'T EVEN START TO COME BACK UP UNTIL THEY ARE ABOUT 30. Some guys never fully recover from childhood.

If you hold these truthes near and dear and don't expect too much, you won't be disappointed.

I think they sometimes forget their age.:P

Maybe you are so engaging that they are too engrossed with you that they can't think other thoughts. As long as you stay careful, take that as a compliment!;-)

that's exactly the point: we could be their grandkids! at some point older men tend to brag with their affairs.. the younger the "temptations" the better they feel. i don't really know what exactly happens inside their weird old brains but there are many men like that.
take some of my teachers at school for example. the worst one of all would be my history teacher, after we got rid of the physics teacher (because of the exact reasons among many others). he keeps staring at us as if he doesn't care we see him... gosh... could you imagine a teacher asking you to stand up from the desk without any reson but to stare at your feet, as that day you are wearing a skirt...(that's what my deskmate had to go through)... it's absurd, i know... and the worst thing is that no one does anything! after all they're teachers!

This is sexual harassment!I would be speaking with my boss. Bosses do not generally take sexual harassment lightly because they can be sued. If he or she does not take it seriously, then I would keep a journal with dates, times and exactly what happened and find an attorney! A journal with dates, times and exactly what happened would be essential because a judge would ask how you remember the date and time of an incident. You would be surprised how much it can help a case to have it logged.

Haha, it creeps me out too!! I dont think they realize that we think of them as icky old men. Most of them are probably trying to see if they still have it, and a lot of them just like to flirt.

It's really creepy for receiving blatant proposals and open invitation...ewww! I guess it's a way for them to feel young and prove to themselves that they are still virile enough for young women such as you.
