 in my opinion. he was flawless. his acting almost matched christopher reeves to the tee. and for me anything less would be uncivilized. there are even points in superman returns where routh looks exactly like reeves. even when he coughed it was reeves lol. give me your opinion.

he's not as good looking as reeves in my opinion, but that isnt what made reeves "superman" lol. i always held reeves as THE superman. but i must admit that he did do a really good job!

| 2. ram_cv (2143) | 3 years ago |  Routh did a decent job as a superman, but I felt something missing in his performance. He almost has a sad look in his eyes and does not seem to be The Superman with a twinkle in his eyes ready to save the Earth. Also he seemed a bit cold to me. If you ask me if Reeves and Routh were the two supermen, whom would I approach with my problem. I find Reeves more accessible than Routh.

The story itself was a little lax in the time lines but not enough that the average person would catch it.
