As a parent what do you think is the biggest challegence in front of us

Guiding them throgh their relatioships that they will have and trying to be there for them whatever they may do and giving them advice on drinking and other things.

giving the kid good discipline and keep him/her happy all at the same time...

i am not a parent yet but from what i see from the oppisite side i think that the biggest challegence that they face is that their children will like and love them.
they do not want to be the trauma parent but they do want to be the childs guide and friend.
that they thing will lwt the child lead a healthy life and love in his future and he will have the ability to blend in and live by society codes

Being a parent is not easy no matter how good your intentions are before hand.

Three things I find hard:

Being firm and disciplined to teach them right from wrong and stop them getting involved with bad but cool people.

Trying to make them street wise whilst trying to protect them from evil.

Letting go

The biggest challenge to parents, in my opinion, is raising children with good morals and values. With so many outside influences, from the media and from peers, it gets a little more difficult all the time. All we can really do is give them a good foundation when they are young, and then hope that they will continue on the right path as they get older and face more and more temptations.

the biggest challenge that we face as parents is raising an intelligent/caring/independent human being. You have to make sure you teach them values and respect, instill good morals, while at the same time giving them enough space to become the person they should be. Guide them yet not smother them. Punish them yet not abuse them. Teach them yet not obligate them. The biggest challenge we face is knowing where to draw the line.
