Do you have hobbies? If so what are some of them?

I crocheted as a hobby until I found out I can sell them at auction for extra money. Now I crochet granny squares and sell them so I don't have time to make anything for myself anymore. I also read and garden, they help me to relax and not think about anything but what I'm doing that minute. You have a great day too.

Wow! You know your crafts, don't you? I love crafts but don't have the idea's of what to make and what I'd need. However my hobbies are reading, cross stitching, making a few odd things here and there. I gotta tell ya though both of my grandmothers were crafty people but I didn't know one very well because she died of cancer when I was just 6 years old. My other grandmother died in 2000 but she knew her crafts too. One time she took a tomato plant holder and turned it upside down and made a christmas tree out of it. I never saw it but heard about it. I was away with my hubby, he was in the army for 27 years and I spent Almost 15 1/2 years with him. I'd love to make a doll house for my God daughter for she's coming again in May or first of June but I don't have the cutting machines to do it with. I took shop in middle school and made a few things there which I loved that class. I was a tom boy through in through in those days. I took up home ec too and that's where I learned to sew but I forgot it all but I do remember it was alot of fun.

Your hands must be full all of the time. I wonder why you still find time for mylot. He-he. That's the joke.

The hobby I love most is gardening and planting trees. I love taking care of animals, too. I am growing herbs. It seems I never grow enough of them. There are plenty of enemies around. They are mostly my animal pets. Chickens just consume all that they can manage. I do not cage them because they become lonely and produce less eggs that way. I find it exciting leading this kind of life.

Wow - well it sounds like you are really talented with making things. I am totally useless at stuff like that - can't even sew a buttion on - LOL - so I always have the greatest respect for people who have the patience to do crafts. As for my own hobbies - well working full-time rather stops me doing much in the "hobby" department, - I am more work, eat, sleep............... but I do love my tennis, and I go to quite a few live tenis tournaments such as Wimbledon, and the French Open in Paris. I also love the theatre, and my partner and I try to catch a new production in London's West End every couple of months. I have 5 cats who keep my more than busy(!), and also work voluntarily in an Animal Shelter for unwanted, stray cats on a Saturday morning. I also have the Internet of course, and love listening to rock music. Have a nice evening yourself - or perhaps it is still day for you:-))

Good morning, I have a hobby that I really enjoy it is called paper quilling, it is quite easy to do and beautiful when coomplete.
Paper quilling has been done for over 500 years and how it got its name was at one time they would take long strips of paper and wrap them around a quill slide the round off and glue to a backing using various shapes sizes and colors you can make pictures or medallions.Of course in the beginning paper was very scarce, and only one color basis, beige or light tan, I saw in a museum many years ago a picture of a bouquet of flowers and they were varying shades of almost white to dark brown, it was incredible. the picture was very old, but beautifully done, That is when I fell in love with paper quilling. Long story short, A group I belong to was doing art projects to have auctioned off at the next gala the group had, I am not an artist,I have an eye for what is good and I know what speaks to me, I didn;t want to give some thing I was not comfortable with. I asked if I learned how to paper quill would that be acceptable if I created a project for them I would let them pick out the project from the book I was going to learn from. I was told yes. Instead of a picture, the instructor asked me to make the chess board .It was a 100 medallions to make and each medallion had 21small circles shaped in to rounds or teardrop shapes then glued together.The medallions were then placed between two 15 square sheets of Plexiglas, four holes were frilled and small legs attached, the finished product which as done in Dark Green, and silver light gray was just beautiful, it took me a month to do all the work, and at the next meeting I took in the chess board,every one agreed it was good enough to go into the auction,The Instructor asked me what are they going to use for chess pieces, They can buy their own, But don;t you think if you made them it would be that much better, . I can try was my reply, I did it I actually made the chess pieces out of paper quilling, and they were my design. As to the end of this story I have no idea where this chess board is it went on tour with the Dementia and Alzheimer's Society and as far as I know it is still touring, Another thing I did with my paper quilling was I made a bunch of medallions and made them in to jewelery, and tried to sell them at my yard sale, but people were just not interested, So now I only do chess boards and I only do them for charity. But it is a wonderful hobby

I am into the Suduko puzzles right now. I love them. I am like yuoi as well, i like to crocket. I do not like to ctochet using yarn, but thread only...doilies mostly. i love to read. I have to read before i go to bed or else I can get to sleep.

wow! that's cool. in short you want to say that you make the best out of the waste. i don't engage myself in these kind of activities rather i like writing short stories and poems studded with beautiful and meaningful words. i also like watching t.v, reading palms, dancing and surfing the net.

I enjoy creating personalized cards and invitations. I do them for any occasion and over the years, it's just grew through word of mouth. I also enjoy braiding hair. Same as the cards and invitation, through word of mouth I started braiding more hair. Both actually have brought in money as well..

Nothing like a hobbie that you enjoy and get paid for it also..
