Good gosh, nobody has written anything about one of my favorite actors- Alan Rickman!
To date I have enjoyed most of his work, but one role stands out for me right now: His work in "Something The Lord Made" as Dr. Blalock really hit a chord with me.
These are the roles that he should be playing all the time!
I was a little taken aback by his southern accent for a while, but he's done a good job and deserves much credit.
So what's your favorite Alan Rickman role? Die Hard? Rasputin? Mesmer?

Now he is one great actor. He's fantastic in everything I've seen him in. Oh I'm torn on which is my favorite role though. He's done so many good ones. I loved him in "The January Man" and in "Die Hard". As the Sheriff of Nottingham in "Robin Hood Prince of Theives" he was unique and made me smile and I love him as Snape in "Harry Potter". He's so different in each role but always good. I can't really choose one favorite but those four are my top favorite of his :)

Oh goodness, I could go on and on about this man forever. He is absolutely wonderful! (Yes, I'm very guilty of a having huge crush on the man) It's hard to pick a favorite role of his. But I can count the Sheriff of Nottingham, Colonel Brandon, Professor Snape, Judge Turpin, and Jamie among my favorites.
