Mother's Day - What did you get for your mum

My mum always tells me just a card would be lovely. I usually end up buying her flowers. This year I decided to get her something different and I spoke to my sister. We agreed to club together and I now we are taking my Mum to see Donny Osmond in concert. Her face lit up when she realised what we had done.

That is so great that you got your mom face to light up. Sometimes that is hard to do. For my mom and mother in law I usually buy flowers to plant in there garden and plant them for them. They are getting older and love to have flowers outside. My mother in law especially loves them. It is always good to please them. You always know they will say they don't want anything.

Oh your mom is so lucky, I love Donny Osmond from way back when I was much younger. He is a wonderful singer and entertainer. I ususally take my mom out for dinner, and a little gift of some sort. She is hard to buy for, but I am usually the only one to buy for her so I try to do something nice. She's my only mom. You made me smile thinking of your mom's face when you told her what you planned :)

I do find her hard to buy for usually but when I saw that Donny Osmond was coming to town it made it all so much easier. Mums are worth it.
