Here's mine. Its from "Stopping by the Woods on a Lovely Evening" by Robert Frost"The woods are lovely dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before i sleep,
And miles to go before i sleep."I think these words so beautifully encapture what life is about. Its about appreciating the good things but not letting them hamper what needs to be done.

I totally agree with you..often times we are so obsessed with our age and what we have accomplished that we forget to actually make our life worth living.

the one i like and follow as a principle in life is ''its simple to be happy but it is difficult to be simple''. so i try to be happy and simple. hows that?
