Have you been for blind date ? was it a diaster

i have never been on a blind date,i meet my hubbie at work

I have been on two blind dates that were just fine, but that lead to nothing more than a first date. then i have been on a blind date - sort of - that found me my partner of 8 years. We were invited to a dinner party together. The hosts intention was for us to meat as they thought we would like eachother. We did!

Nope. I have never tried a blind date. I don't even have the courage to talk to a stranger, what more for a blind date. But there was a time during high school. I accompanied my friend who was going to have a blind date. So here's the story, my friend who happens to be a girl met her date on the internet. They chat all the time and they even talk to the phone. Seems like they are having mutual understanding. So they decided to see each other. The actual date turned out good but after that day they have never spoken again. Weird!

Many years ago a friend set me up with one of her friends. We had nothing in common other than we were both friends of the friend LOL That was my first and last blind date. :) At times I will run into this man at a store or something and we will say hello and laugh about it to this day.

Blind date is the weidest kind of date I could ever imagine. Though I still haven't tried it yet, but I can't imagine myself going for a blind date. First of all, why should I entertain someone who in the first place I do not know at all? Well, probably I'm not into blind dates because I'm the type of person who wants to meet someone first before going on a date with him. :)

I have had several blind dates per se, with men I have met on the internet. They all have gone well, and a couple have been more than one. But since I am not really looking for another full time man in my life I keep things toned down.
