As for more modern day fare, "Hope Floats", "How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days", and "The Notebook". All great films and must see's for romance the genre.

If "50 FIRST DATES" showed how they died, i would have that as the best.. because it would be too amazing for words if Lucy and Henry would grow that old and are still together even with all the difficulty they have gone through..
