One only thinks about breaking rules and the other always thinks about obeying them and making others obey. Hermione's is fussy about studies and the other doesn't even think of studies. Though its said that opposites attract, but they're way too opposite.

4.  racheldarcy (2399) | 3 years ago |  I do not think that Hermione and Ron would make a particularly good couple. Although they are friends they do tend to keep falling out with eachother. Their personalities are also very different.
Hermione is very studious and keen to follow the rules. Ron does not study that much and he seems fine with breaking rules - even his father breaks rules (such as the flying car). It is hard to believe that two such different people would be friends let alone a couple. I think that it is probably only their mutual friendship with Harry that gives them anything in common. When they leave school they will no longer be seeing so much of each other and therefore I woudl not think their freindship would last even.
I think that Hermione is probably better suited to someone who is hardworking. Ron to someone who is more relaxed.
