Yes I know why this prize is called the Nobel Prize. a Swedish chemist and inventor named Alfred Nobel,1833-1896, who became quite rich from his ínventions, one of them being dynamite and after his death, his wishes were followed that his money be put into a fund, to every year honour those people who had made the greatest contribution in different categories, among them the Peace Prize.
