You see a presnt on the side of the road do you stop?  |

|  This past Christmas I don't know if it was a joke or what but on the side of the road there was a great big box all wrapped up in Christmas paper and looked like it had fallen off the back of someons truck and just landed on the side of the road. Well where it was at you could only be going like 10-15mph cause you would have just pulled out from a red light. I seen this and thought to myself someone must have put it there as a gag to see how many people would stop. It was there for days. We had been in Springfield off and on all that week but it was there everytime we went and when we came home. Would you have stopped to see if it had something in it or would you have just driven by like it was a joke?

| |  I do not think I would have stopped, as you can never be sure of what was in it. I most defiantly would have advised the police about it and let them deal with it. It is a sad state of affairs that we are now afraid to look at a box because some one might have planted some sort of weapon in it, the world is full of crazy people and we have to be paranoid enough to not go for a possible bait.

| |  In todays situation I do not think I would stop for anything that is unattended. I do not want to be on the headlines saying "2 killed in the explosion in mysterious gift bomb ". or who knows might be a trap by some muggers !! Once I had stopped for a hitch hiking kid and got in to lotsa problems. Now even the most beautiful things in the world wont make me to stop.
