Potrayal of a mentally challenged man overcoming the perception and limitations of society is quite profound. I guess there can never be enough excuses for not succeeding in life.
You know I had never looked at the movie Forrest Gump in that light. I guess it does show that no matter how you are mentally challenged you can succeed. You need a strong will as the character in this movie had. I had not cared for it when I saw it. But looking at it in the light that you just shown on it it was a very good movie.
