What is the most vaulable thing in your house tonight  

I'm going to definitely have to go with a sentimental thing that I have.

My wife's wedding ring, which is my mother's old ring. It's been passed down from my grandmother, to my mother, and now my wife has it. It's a beautiful ring, and because it symbolizes something so pure and it makes her happy, it's is naturally the most precious thing we have in our home.

Real personal value as opposed to monetary..I might sound like a weak character to some, but there was a teddy bear I brought over from England when I moved to Minnesota. It was bought for me when I was about 3 days old and is still in a reasonable condition. It was fixed up many many years ago, when one arm and a leg began to come loose.
I threw out 95% of everything I had to move here..out with the old and in with the new...but kept hold of that sentimental teddy :)

I think my most valuable items in my house would be family photos, followed by the family history I have written. Also some of my jewellery for memory reasons.

My cat!!! She is very, very precious to me, worth more than money could buy, worth more than anything except for my partner, who isnt in right now. I've only had her a few months, maybe about 3, but i'm totally smitten by her and love her sooo much, i couldn't be without her now.

I would have to say a religious book we lovingly refer to as "The Big Book"
it is huge - and has sermons from a bishop of the mid 1800s for the entire year - all holy days and special octaves are included.

He gives the gospel of the day, as well as the epistle - then talks about them in detail - and often gives a personal story and a bit of a history lesson that correlates to the sermon.
