Do you think 'Stargate' could be real?

I think it's naive to think that alien life doesn't exist, since the sheer size of the univers would suggest that we can'r be the only lump of rock with some life on it.

I don't think that there is such a thing as a 'star gate' though. It's a nice idea, but suits the world of fiction better than that of reality.

This is so funny. My husband and I talk about that often! We think that society isn't informed of 99% of what is going on in the world or the univers, for that matter.

When it comes to the Egyptians and such, I think there is tendency to think of them as backward because there is no evidence of their being what we consider advanced, or living more like us. I think most of that attitude come from the Euro-centric approach to history and the unwillingness to recognize highly developed civilizations in Africa. Even now, most people think of Egypt and think of the last few dynasties...Cleopatra and her little gangs that traded around the mediterranean. People aren't taught about the previous dynasties and the developments that occurred in upper Egypt. Because of this, people assume that there had to be alien intervention. After all...black people in Africa couldn't possibly have advances beyond those of Europe....LOL

Out side of that, I think there is more going on than we are told or taught.

The concept of a 'stargate' is based on the theory of time and space warping which is no science fiction for modern physics. the universe can be described as a sheet of paper that can be folded or 'warped' given the proper amount of energy. Warping is also the same concept on how the Enterprise of Startrek can travel at light speeds. at present, i am not updated on the progress of scientists on space warping, but i am hopeful that in the near future, this will already be possible.
As for the Egyptians, well their culture it has been a mystery ever since. But i believe that ancient peoples are not dumb. Humanity has always had the capability to think beyond and create great things. If we cease to think of ancient peoples as cavemen, maybe it wont be hard to imagine the Egyptians designing a most basic geometric figure - the pyramid.

Yes stuff very similar to what is going on in the Stargate movie is happening in the world and has been going on for thousands of years. Read the book "Children of the Matrix" if you think you are open minded enough to learn the truth about what is going on in the world.

Maybe time will come that secrets will be revealed

It certainly is a possibility. I often found myself wondering about this matter quite a few times after watching the show or the movie.

After all, you never know what the government is hiding, do you? We could already have a teleportation system being made, perhaps like Star Trek:P
