what traditional drawing tools you are using? i'm using pencil, some pen, markers, charcoals, paints and erasers. please share some thoughts on how you used your tools and how does it feels to make an artwork? My first drawn picture was astro boy, easy to draw, i used pencil both for line ups edges then pen for finalized the lines then charcoals for shades and markers for the picture colors.

Same. I also use pencils, pens, markers, charcoals and paints. I guess these are the only traditional drawing things we have now a days. I usually start my drawings with an outline using a pencil and finalize it with a darker shade of a pencil and shade it with charcoal. I think charcoal expresses my picture better that water color.
After drawing, I feel so proud! You should too! because not all people are gifted to draw! And if you really want to apply your interest and hobby in drawing, try to study architecture. It's cool. and you can learn lots of things and techniques in drawing

Hmmm, up to now, I still use pencils and then ink them with good ballpens. Then I went with mechanical pencils since I don't have to sharpen it often when I do slight details. However, I never left out my pencils and I mostly like those Green Coated Pencils at The Heritage Hotel.

I also erase with the usual erasers but mostly, go along with Staedtler. I also use knead erasers since they don't scratch off the paper compared to the usual erasers I used to use.

After doing a work, as long as it feels nice to look at for on my part, that's already gratifying. I know it would be looked upon and critiqued for certain details but that's part of doing work.
