Why is it that sometimes a tag is needed on a comment on your own question...  | | yet sometimes when you respond there is none needed? My reasoning is that maybe the tags are so good the first time none are needed, but then that doesn't make sense. Please someone enlighten me, thank you and have a great day! FranMc:)peace

I think it's needed because mylot categorizes responses and discussions on the basis of tags. Like if you click on any specific tag then you will get all the responses and discussions that have been posted by that name.
So maybe, when we are asked to tag our own comment, it's meant to save it for that purpose. I can be wrong but this is what I could understand why they did it.
I'm open to anyone else's opinions too and know the true answer to this question.
