No, God has never let me down, God does things in God's time, remember God is infinate and the time we spend on earth is but a wink in God's time. We as humans are weak and it is we who are letting God down. God is always there for you, If he does not seem to answer your prayers you are not looking hard enough.

yes I feel this way often and thats why I have stopped praying or reading in the Bible.
I have to explain that I am a fighter by nature and I wont give up when times are hard immediately. I will try to keep my head up in the chaos I am in and hope that someday the situation will be better.
But I feel that all the praying, hoping and reading the Bible, attending a so called Bible believing free church has not brought me really further in life.
The Bible tells us how God was with the "Children Israel" in the Old Testament and what Jesus did in the New Testament and how the Church started but what does that have to do with me, today. This doesnt speak to me.

I have felt that whenever I ask God for something he just has said I am not going to listen to you because you are not one of my favorite children. Others in that church had a firm stand and knew what God wanted them to do and that God guides them but sure not me.

Yes I frequently felt so. Only later I understood, what I had was a stumble whereas it could have been a great fall. God had held me on so that I did not have a great fall but just stumbled. Oh What could have happened if he had not helped then?
