third eye... blessing or curse

I am not sure how I would have felt if this had happened to me as I would imagine it would be quite scary especially if you had no one to talk to about it .
I can do things with tarot cards and now when I do them I have strong feelings that I feel are coming from the person and can say that although neat this is always scary when it happens as I never know when it is going to happen and I don't know how to get rid of the feeling when it comes on and it is never a feeling of good .
My dad says we have the ability to do things in our family but he doesn't explain it well so I am not sure what he means but he believes me when I say things with the cards and his wife thinks I truely see things as she has said I have told her things no one else has ever known and have answered questions in the way I do it by having the person not tell me what they are asking and answering on intuition alone and she says I have been right every time . Sometimes it is uncanny and I am not sure how much I really believe in myself but can say that seeing things would be a whole lot worse .

it is a blessing, never take it as a curse. God must have given the third eye for some reason and when u get know it u will understand.

actually the "third eye" is nothing more than ones "6th Sense" which we ALL have....And it can be somewhat of a 'curse' simply because sometimes you just dont want to know..sometimes being that in tune can be very frustrating....

That being said though really its neither a curse nor a blessing, it just "is"....Everyone has a sixth sense it just so happens that some of us either were never tainted by outside influences therefore never pushing it away OR we lost touch with it but reconnected later on in life....

I think I would hate to know things like that.
Some people would be afraid of me and maybe agressive as they wouldn't understand how I could know things without having spied.
I think I would keep the ability a secret.

hello friend, as far as myself is concerned, if it would happen to me then i will want to get rid of it. I think its the matter of God, we cant have an eye on supernaturals except God. i know persons who do watch supernatural but in my opinion it is a curse. If it is not a curse then what is it?? Do we want to have competition with God?? Third eye is not natural.. I dont beleive in its naturality.

although everyone has that 6th sense, not everyone has it open. i'd still consider it a blessing, but i definitely don't want mine to be open. i'm scared of supernaturals. lolz! c',)

I've never heard it called that before - third eye. I always related the third eye to the chakra and considered psychic ability to be just that or to be the sixth sense.

My opinion is that everyone has this ability. Some use it, some don't. Some open themselves up to the possibilities and can use their abilities. Some have closed minds or have been told repeatedly that they don't see those things or they can't do this or that.

Anyway, I consider it to be a blessing AND a curse. A blessing, because it's something you are born with, it's a part of you and it helps you. A curse, because of the way other people will treat you when they learn that you're using one of your senses that they don't.

Everyone actually has a third eye and it's right between your eyes. It's the sixth chakra and it is true that some believe that you can see things using that third eye. I believe what you can actually see is a person's aura and that color of that aura will allow you to know if a person is good or evil depending on the color.

I think that anyone with a third eye is with an advantage because he can use this extraordinary talent to good use not only for himself but for many people. Many people have experienced this partially via dreams and visions.
