What is the best live concert you have ever seen? |

I've been going to see bands in concert for many years and have loved most of the performances I have seen but for me the greatest concert I ever saw was Queen live at the Milton Keynes Bowl
So whats your best live concert been?

2. breepeace (2278) | 3 years ago | I went to a Green Day concert that was pretty amazing, but it was just a concert.
The best concert I ever went to was when Big Wreck (they split up a few years ago, the lead singer Ian, started the band Thornley) played at the hotel I used to work at. It was a small venue, but they did an AMAZING job.
But there was a more personal reason why. They stayed at the hotel, too, and were a surprise act -- we only sold tickets the day of the show. No one knew except the General Manager and the Bar Manager. So when their manager called confirming their rooms the day before, and told me his name was James Dean, I completely thought he was pulling my leg.
C'mon, James Dean is calling to make sure Big Wreck's rooms are booked? Right.
I confirmed it with him, since he seemed to know everything, and grabbed my copy of "In Loving Memory Of..." the next day before work, just because I'm the eternal optimist and sure enough, At 3 the next day, Ian Thornley walks up to the reception counter, smiles and says, "Hi".
Anyway.. the band all signed my CD, I got them everything they needed to be comfortable, shared my chocolate bar with the drummer, Forrest (he's a choco-holic) while I picked his brain on music and gave him my opinion on their music and went to the concert after my shift was over.
It was great, but imagine my surprise when they sent out their encore song ("The Oaf", which is my all time favorite Big Wreck song) to 'the best Front Desk girl ever'!
I was elated!

I went to a Shirley Bassey concert once and she sang Kiss Me Honey Honey Kiss Me directly to me and then gave me a kiss and a rose at the end of the show.
Was really cool

3. Zalvor (580) | 3 years ago | Steve Vai is the most phenomenal act on stage I have ever seen. He just bewitches you with his charisma and his ability to play like a God! It's, what the lovers of instrumental rock music call "the closest thing to a religious experience", and it is! Maybe it is like being bathed in sin! He plays his music so passionately and with such technical precision you indeed feel like you're overwhelmed in the presence of a great spirit, a divine musician, a gandharva. (look up your wikipedia for the meaning! Here's the link!) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gandharva

5. limalimon (614) | 3 years ago | I went to a concert of roger water in 2002, it was expectacular and amazing, he played a lot of Pink FLoyd songs, and some of his solo albums. this concert made me feel very very sad because some songs that he played they remember a person who i loved a lot in the past. every time that i heard these songs i get back in the past and remember this girl.
