The rapture  

People may not think it is fair, but that is what the Bible states, everyone has their own free will, everyone will have the chance to get in, if they do not, and they go by what they are taught now, that is their choice, all I am asking here is, how would you react? How would you feel? How would it make you feel to find out that hey, there was something to this after all?

Fairness is not the case, the belief in God, and Jesus and the faith you have is what sends you to Heaven. Let me give you a quote from the bible, concerning different religions

"I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel-which is no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to prevert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from Heaven should preach a gospel other thatn the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!" Galatians 1:6-9

I don't know what I should do because I simply don't believe in all these things. I'm not saying that there isn't a higher force but I don't believe that 'it' needs all this praising and stuff..

Why do you not think that? God made you and I, he created the earth, he created the animals, he sent his Son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins, He has done so much already, Jesus paid the ultimate price for us. I think that he deserves all the praise!

If Jesus was God's son, why didn't God help Jesus when he needed him the most?

It was all apart of his wonderful plan, He gave his Son as a sacrifice for us, so that we can live with him in Heaven.

yes, Before Jesus, people would sacrifice their best animal, such as sheep, to God, for atonement, to prove they loved him enough to sacrifice their best. So, God, sent Jesus to die for our sins, as a sacrifice, hence, he is called, the Lamb of God. He took our sins on his shoulders, and died with them, so we could recieve redemption through him.

That worries me too, I like my head where it is. Just the thought of them cutting it off. really bothers me. That would be horrible.

You have the choice to believe what you want to man, I just hope and pray that you do not have to go through andy of this.

But how can you be convicted for something you don't believe in?

My advise to you is 1st have an open mind, then 2nd watch programs like the 700 club, John Hagee, Td Jakes, Benny Hunn, Rod Parsley These are some very good programs that teach you just what God does, and what is expected, it shows you many things about the Bible, another one that is good it Jack Van Impee, he is on tonight on fox at 11:30 or 12:30. He shows you the headlines today, and how it corresponds with the Bible, he will actually give you scriptures in the Bible about what is going on in the world today. Now all these things were predicted over 2000 years ago, and they are happening now, and who can be the one to do that? God, the Bible was inspired by God. And he tells us everything that is going to happen

"I tell you, whoever acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man will also acknowledge him before the angels of God. But he who disowns me before men will be disowned before the angels of God. 1And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven." Luke 12:8-10

The Bible does not use the word "rapture" no, but What the Bible does say means "Rapture"

1 Corinthians 15:51-52[51] Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed --[52] in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

1 Thessalonians 4:15-17[15] According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.[16] For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.[17] After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

I do believe that this is the last thing that God will do to show everyone he is what he says he is and give others that do not believe another chance, but after the rapture.......it will be terrible.

God has already proven himself when Jesus died on the cross and rose again. That was it. He does not need to show this again. Those that don't believe will not get that second chance. On the only judgement day, it will be terrible for those who didn't believe. God is patient but when He comes back, He gave you plenty of time. He's not going to give you more.

1 Corinthians says EVERYONE will be changed. It will all happen in a flash of light and then EVERYONE will be judged.

1 Thessalonians says nothing about people being left behind. It's talking about how the people who have already died will be raised again and be judged along with the living. EVERYONE else who is still alive will be lifted up for judgement. Not just the righteous. EVERYONE. No one will be left behind.

"But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. Since EVERYTHING will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be?" 2 Peter 3:10,11

There will be nothing left for people to be left behind. All will be destroyed. So on that day, everyone will go to their own destination, heaven or hell.

I can respect what you are saying, I really can.My belief is that God gives us all the free will to choose him or reject him. And the way we do this is to ask Jesus in our heart and develope a personal relationship with him. In heaven, there will be no "denominations" Just those that have accepted Jesus as their personal savior. God doesn't lie, and he said that if you reject me, you will go to hell. It is not God putting anyone there, it is the person that rejects him. Hell was created for satan and his demons.........not for any one esle, but to stay away from there, we have to do something. There will be no sin in heaven.

First you say that you believe we have the will to choose how we believe in God, if at all. Then you say in heaven, there will be no denominations.

THEN you state that you have to believe in JESUS to go to heaven. That means you believe only CHRISTIANS go to heaven. I think there is room for all of us... Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddists... we can't possibly think WE can choose who we think gets in. We can't even comprehend WHAT heaven really is to think we know how to put boundaries on it at ALL...

it's one thing to believe in God, or a god of any kind. but stating the belief in JESUS - that's what makes you a Christian. So with that statement you are already excluding anyone who isn't Christian.

Do YOU get the right to make that judgement? I think GOD is the only one who KNOWS, and GOD is the ONLY ONE who can judge any of us!!

I am sorry, but I am not judging anybody, I am just saying what it says in the Bible, it is there in black and white, John 3:16. No there will be no denominatins in heaven, there are jewish people that have accepted Jesus, and many other religions that have accepted Jesus. it is not what I have said, it is what God said, and yes, God will be the one that judges all. Not us, we just pass the word on.
