Portable GPS devices.....  

My wife actually works in the GPS industry but it's only recently that we actually got one for ourselves for the car. We love it...not only does it giver directions but shows where the nearest, restaurants, ATM's etc are...really invaluable when travelling any kind of distance by car.

I've been using one for over 12 years now, I use it to find fishing spots I have been to befor. The one I have dont talk just display the location which is good enough for me. My next one will be a gps/chart ploter, you can actualy follow the same exact path you took befor.

I don't drive. My husband does. He has one of these gadgets, and he loves it! It makes driving so much easier for him.

Not only do I use my GPS for navigating the streets, but also for geocaching, if any of you have heard of it. If not, the fact that you have a GPS makes it so much easier for you to start - now go check out the website.

LOL. I would love to have a GPS on my PDA phone.

Unfortunately, I would just have to make do with a map. I don't think a GPS will be on top of my must-have list of gadgets.

For one thing, it's still expensive in my country and second, asking for directions costs a lot less. LOL.

Yay! I know how funny is this! my husband and I buy few months ago.Its really terible because its not 100 percent right.

I ride horses in the mountains a lot and I wouldn't ever go into the mountains with out a GPS. It's too easy to get lost. It's saved my butt many times.
