My baby Fell 2 days in a row!  

i think cement floors are going to be really painful for her to fall on. i think you should look into these floor tiles for kids. the ones that look like puzzles and place them on the floors. it's sometimes cheaper than carpet. you can find them at wal mart or other stores in the toy ile or the sports ile. is she seems ok then i don't think you need to talk her in just try to prevent it from happening again. if you have to leave her for a sec put her on the floor instead of leaving her on the couch or bed.

you are better off leaving your child on the floor, that way they can't roll off anything. by about 4 months of age, sometimes earlier you baby will roll.

you baby should also not be in a bed without rails. if you are with the baby then that is ok. just don't make it a habit, as you don't want you baby to end up w/ brain injuries.

if you baby stops crying then you have major concerns. crying is a good thing if they hurt themselves as you can tell that something is wrong. when they stop crying that is when you should be concerned.

i've dropped my bubs once. i was burping her on my knee she when to vomit, but coughed at the same time, and i just lost my balance and she fell. not far, 20cm but she hit her forehead. i felt really back because of it, but i looked over her. and she's old. just a little red spot. i was with her when it happened. i don't know what would have happened if i wasn't there.

Sweetie your little one is getting to the age where she will be more mobile.It's very important to be sure you have something in front of her so she can not fall again.You've been lucky that she hasn't been badly injured but you don't want this to happen again.As my kids were learning to walk they fell down but never off a bed or sofa.

Not to be rude or mean or anything but what is she doing on the bed and the sofa by herself??? You should never leave a baby unsupervised in a place where they can easily fall. Just keep her on the floor if you cannot be near her. Place a warm fluffy blanket down and put a toy by her.

Maybe you should put on the floor or the playpen if you have one. She is probably learning to roll over. At least she is ok. I have always put my daughter on the floor when she was at that age. Good luck with your daughter.

Perhaps you might consider having a special room for your little girl.that is well padded since she is having such falling problems? Sometimes, I have heard, if a baby has inner ear infections..they will fall often..as this sets one off balance;)+

If you have a cement floor then you need to take you daughter and go get her check out just to make sure shes ok

WHAT ! ur baby must be some kind of super women i guess. ;) just joking ! if it's my baby who fell that way, i sure i'm gonna scream like hell. huhuhuhu ! like what my uncle said (a doctor) an external injuries is something the we don't have to worry, but the internal injuries is something that we often get our hand off it. PLEASE make sure your baby don't get one ! i'm sure u love her as much as i love my boy. Gud luck... n make sure it never happen again !

My daughter fell off the sofa once and I got so scared that I took her to her the e-room. They told me that she was fine, but you never know. But my sister in laws little boy feel down the stairs, he went from head to toe. when we got to the e-room, she was still crying. When I went back to go see him, he was sleeping and in one of those neck things. They did a lot of test and found out that he was fine. Nothing happen to him, only rug burn. We were all thinking that he might of got a spine injury, since he was so small. So he left that night, and the next day he was his old self.

You mus really learn to look after your baby properly and make special arrangements. The circumstances are yours, as are the concrete floors, wake up before it is too late. babies need special care.
