Not knowing what to do because she really didn't know anybody and is a bit shy, her and I had a "Mommy-Daughter" night on the town! I gave her some money and took her to the mall Xmas shopping and we had dinner together. I even went into clothing stores that she liked and tried some of the stuff on myself! She loved it!

If they have alot of friends and you do not have alot of money to spend on a big party, I would suggest inviting them all over to your house and get a big birthday cake from a local grocery store and have games and music and such at home...that is always fun:)

| MissDylynne (58) | 3 years ago | The traditional party is always fun but the clean up is always a nightmare. When my daughter was younger, we had a party for her with all her friends from her old school. They came over and being that we didn't have that much money (Her Birthday is before Christmas), I invited a couple of my friends over and we all did the girls hair and make up and made it a "princess" party. We had a slumber party and played games, told ghost stories, and watched Disney movies after. The girls had a blast!

| | 3. lynninky (334) | 3 years ago | Well I know a lady and her son had only one friend. The child was still in grade school so One day when she had t go to school, I do not remember if she just took him to school or not but she was there. She made some flyers off the computer then told the teacher to tell the classes about that childs birthday party. She had it at a skating rink. She bought cake, chips, ice cream, 2 liters of different pop, plates, cups, napkins and forks. She really did it to help her son get more friends and she was right. He got gifts from 15 kids out of the 32 that showed up. Seven of those kids are still his friends today. everytime he has one of those B-day parties he has lots of friends. Now he gets to pick who comes because everyone wants too.
You can post it at school somewhere if you do not want to tell the class. He needs to get into some clubs, sports, or something...
