| |  Considering the fact that I was traumatised for years after that house fell on my sister, it's a surprised to me that I'm answering a Wizard Of Oz query at all! LOL! :)
Now, Toto basically was only there for the ride but he did help out by revealing The Wizard, so that gets him some points...
The Munchkins built the town, but really couldn't hold their own against the Flying Monkeys, so they lose a few points... plus with those annoying singing voices factored in...
I'd say Toto comes up as the more valuable allie this case!
Sheesh! I just answered a Wizard Of Oz question! I'm gonna need something stronger than coffee to wake me up! :) LOL!

| |  According to lead Munchkin Jerry Maren, the "little people" on the set of The Wizard of Oz (1939) were paid $50 per week for a 6-day work week, while Toto received $125 per week. During filming, Toto was stepped on by one of the witch's guards, and had a double for two weeks. A second double was obtained, because it resembled Toto more closely.
