Prized possessions  

I think my prized possessions would have to be my photographs and my personal DVD's of my friend before he passed away, I would be devastated if I lost any of these.

My priced possessions are my jewelries that I worked so hard to acquire. These are my inheritance to my kids when they grow up. I also have framed crossstitch works which are very dear to me. I also value my boat collections which my friends help me build.

Hey Nikki, I have my mums engagement ring which I can't wear as it is too big for me but I value it anyway. Another is some of my mums ornaments which I have displayed in my cabinets. Whenever I see them it reminds me of the love and happiness my mum always used to share with us.

My Price Possessions are things that the Kids have bought me like a white Stuffed Tiger, Dolphin Ornaments and they mean a lot to me

Oh that sounds beautful no wonder you don't take it off. Oh very sorry that you lost your mother when you were still quite young. Well when my mother passed away I received her first engagement, wedding and eternity rings that mean the world to me and I certainly won't take these off either they mean the world to me it is 5 years today since my mother died today.

I only have one prized possession. It is a gold ring I got when I graduated from San Silvestre School, a British school, in Lima Peru, in 1968. It is a chunky ring, with the school emblem on top, number 68 on one side and XXX (30)on the other, for the 30th promotion to have graduated from that school on the other. The emblem itself has three symbols, a llama for Peru a lion for Britain and a book for learning. Inside it also used to have my initials (SG), but usage has rubbed it off.
The ring reminds me of my school and Peru, my home country and that of my father and grandparents. I left my country to migrate to Australia days after my school graduation and have only returned on short trips ever since.
Despite being a prized possession, I must admit that I have lost that ring on two occasions. One time I lost it when I was living in the Dominican Rep. and found it again when I moved houses and it fell out from the underside of my bed, where it must have been lodged for a long while. The second time I lost it was here in Austria and I looked for it for weeks, but found it again (one more time) under my bed in our weekend house! Thanks Ausnikki for making me think about my ring and its story, as it is really a prized possession!
Having said that, I must admit that the word "possession" reminds me of Mrs Munro, my English teacher in SS school. To insist about the spelling of possessive, she used to repeat "P-O-S-S, E-S-S-, I-V-E!

You know I had to think what sort of prized possessions do I really have. I couldn't think of anything let alone whether I should have to relate with this discussion. Except for a couple things like the memories of my grandmother, yeah that would be my most prized possession. Nobody can steal those away form me. Then I thought would the person who posted this discussion give me a bad rating for responding, but then again I did tell of my prized possession!

Hi ausnikki! :) My most prized possession is my cellphone. It is where I saved important messages and important numbers of my friends and family, and also business associates. It is very important to me because it's the only thing where people can easily contact me.

My most prized possessions is my family. They are actually the reason while I'm still breathing ow. Without their guidance and moral support I would have been a cold body right now. Yes they were the ones who saved me from my addictions when I was still a teen-ager. All their support made me a completely changed person and what I am right now is all because of them.

Right now the things that mean the most to me are ...

1) My engagement and wedding ring because of what they represent.
2) My daughter is only 14 months now, but when she gets older and starts to make me things I will cherish them with all my heart.
3) Photos of my family and friends.
