What's the best peanut butter? Why?

the best peanut butter imo is the petter pan brand name.

I like the freshly made ones that are sold at the local supermarket.

The machine there has a knob that allows one to choose how well you want the nuts to be blended. So you can choose a smooth creamy type and the crunchy variety and anything else in between.

Personally I like the crunchy type. I like to see the machine process those nuts into a crunchy peanut butter for me on the spot. What you get is a product with an extra crunch to it when you apply it to your bread. Delicious!

i dont like american made peanut butter because it is too dry. i prefer our local peanut butter because it is really creamy and yummy. you do have to mix the peanut butter when you first open it because the peanut oil is on the surface and you mix it to make it more creamy. im sure my fellow filipinos know what i mean hehehehe

skippy's not too bad..but the new reese's peanut butter-which is the same type they use in the candy,now that's awesome.especially if you put it on bananas.

I love the more natural peanut butters that have less sugar and I waayyyy prefer chunky over smooth....chunky & grainy...yum!

i personally dont eat peanut butter unless its wrapped in chocolate,but i'll buy whatever is on sale to bake with...i prefer jif or skippy but sometimes they are just too expensive...
