Conglomerate Russian Standard, controlled by billionaire Russian entrepreneur, Roustam Tariko bought the domain name, "VODKA.COM" paid $3 Million to an undisclosed seller in a deal completed December 4' 2006. The deal was brokered by Sedo.
How could someone pay $3 million just for a domain name. This shows that the "Generic Domain Name Market" is really hotting up.

After reading that article, visiting VOKDA.COM was the first thing I did myself. The domain takes you to the website of Russian Standard....... that Russian Federation company which bought the domain.
