Well, I thought our Easter would really suck, but it turned out not so bad. No, we didn't get to have a big family day like we usually do, but we did get together with my sisters and my parents and let the kids hunt eggs. With my kids being sick and contagious, we couldn't go to my grandpa's house like normal and hunt eggs. We planned on a big picnic, but the weather didn't cooperate (and my kids being sick) so that was out. Anyhow, the kids had fun...got tons of candy...and now we are back home. They are home playing and I am cleaning a bit. It turned out ok after all. It's all in the way you look at it.
How was everyone else's Easter?

I know what you mean. We had to go to my mother's house for Easter and I really was expecting it to suck as well. Now my one sister is in the hospital (lots wrong but she'll be ok) so we visited her first but then went there. Now normally you get my two brothers and my dad in the same building and there is going to be arguements. All three are know it alls and believe they are right about everything. Now add to this a 12 and 10 year old girls. This is all in a small house. I kept waiting for everything to go bad but this time things went pretty good. The girls didn't argue. The guys did for a few minutes but nothing major. My one brother didn't try to boss around his daughter and his neice, one neice I help raise so I'm her boss right now and he didn't try to make her the bad kid in everything. This usually happens, he along with my father believe since she's older she has to be to blame for eveyrthing and it makes things tense. None of that happened. It was a very pleasent visit for a change. I was still glad to leave because I wanted to go before anything could ruin it.

Oh I forgot to add to that my mom's dinner came out very good. Another unusual thing. My mother proves the adage that those who can do and those who can't teach. She taught home ec. and life skills. Today's dinner though came out really good so I was happy.
