People asking for something in return..

Wow, I wouldn't do that!LOL

I think some people here are going kinda insane about this stuff. As for me, I'm taking things lightly.In fact I don't resent whenever I'm getting a very few responses with every posts that I made. One response is never bad for me.

If anyone would ask me that, I'll have to scrutinize his/her work first..haha.kinda mean, what do you think? If, in case, his/her response didn't move me a bit, I will really have to turn him/her down politely. I'll give my mark to someone who is more deserving.

I am against them. because MyLot pay us fairly... we join myLot because of our will not just because of the money or forceful elements...

I think that this person has a shallow principle in life. He/she doesn't understand the real meaning of accomplishing something by exerting an effort. That's what he's/she's happy about. I'm not going to go down to his/her level.

Mylot should have rules for those things.
I saw it a few times also, and i think it contradict the whole idea of the mylot website as a discussion website.
Lately, i have seen other things that i do not agree with, here in mylot. members promote other sites with a one ot two line sentences. they plead for people to join them.
they are not even opening a discussions about other sites, ot things that has to with the issue of their topic, they just ask in a one sentence line, for people to do somthing.
i really think that mylot should look into those posts, and rule them out.
I also think that they should add in the mylot guide lines, more things that are not to be allowed to do, here in mylot.
Those people, with those topics, are not a quality users, here in mylot.

From my understanding of the rules it is in violation to post and ask for something or promise something for a response.This is an extract from the guidelines.I have noticed someone promising best response for the first correct answer.


Post discussions soliciting a response for a response for example “+” rating for a response. These are against our terms and will be deleted.

we have diffrent views in every discussions we want to response and its up with the one who started the discussion to chose what he/she think the best response. we are here to have fun and earn a bit at the same time. we're not here to outwin other person.

I ask for help but not those in my mylot friends. Just previously, I asked asylum for help to animate my avatar and he did. If he will ask for my help and I can do it, I will certainly do it. Begging for the best response is like taking away the privelege of the one who post to select the best response. This sucks.

I don't understand why there are some of us here who are so anxious about getting their responses to be marked best response. It may do us well if we bear in mind that even if we do our best in making each response, it is highly probable that there is someone who can come up with a much better one. Also, if we feel that it was a lousy one we did, chances are there is someone else who had done worse. Most of us, usually fall within the midrange, and that is a fact of life. For others to be begging that their responses be marked as the best one, if I were the originator of the discussion, I'd surely disregard it when choosing the best one.

All of us who have been around for sometime already, know that it is with some difficulty that we choose the best response. So many good responses are given by the mylotians and at times it takes good effort sizing up all the entries that comes in.

Lucky for me I haven't read responses that wanted me to give their response the best response mark… are there really actually people like that here? Well, I guess they want to have a higher star rating that’s why they ask for that. But I don’t think I will ever have that enough face to demand a BEST RESPONSE for my responses to my friends.

I don’t know if I'm against it but it does kind of irritate me- I mean to have someone respond to your discussion and ask that they be labeled as best response? Especially if their response was not even “good” for your standards? I don’t know, I don’t want to offend but I think there’s this sort of rudeness in that idea. It's like not giving the judges a chance to judge well.
You're right there’s no rule against people asking that their responses be marked as best response. I guess this will just depend on the persons pride whether he wants to ask for that or not. I just hope the these users who asks to be rated a best response- does have the responses that live up to the “best response” rate.

I have never received a request of that kind, but if I do, I might consider if the response really makes any sense. But for the one requesting such, perhaps it will not have a good feeling even if he/she was rated out of request. poor fellow.
