| DDR2 Memory Comparison  | | | |  Am looking to add memory to my desktop. Two local Computer supply stores have 512mb sticks on sale.
The Local Best Buy has Kingston Technology P/N: KVR667D2/512R for about $40.
CompUSA has a 1 gig (2x512mb) PNY Mfg Part #: D21GX53OPT for about $75.
Does anyone have any experience with these?I think the Kingston sticks are from their "Value Memory" line.
What's the timing for these sticks?
I'll be installing it on an Intel Board D975XBX2, is one brand better for dual channel operation than the other?

| |  Whichever you buy beware of rebate scams.
BestBuys sold me two 1GB with rebates and when I sent them in they rejected the seconds rebate and said to read the small print only one rebate per household.
And by the time they responded it was too late to reapply for the second from another address.
