Listening to Senator Carl Levin D MD telling the press that they will fund the troops without strings. Senator Fingold and Senator Reid are saying that the democratic party will demand a withdrawal date. Other democratics are saying that they will never not fund the troopswhile they are in harms way.
Speaker Pelosi tells us that the troop withdrawal will begin in October 2007, David Obey states the first date to start withdrawing troops if August 2007, the Speaker Pelosi said the frist troops would be comming home June 2008, then another Democratic Rep said that the first deadline is June 2007, with troops comming home after that. Then Speaker Pelosi said the troop would stay if progress is made.
This is an example of a party with out leadership and seems to be listening to different left wing groups.

I think it is an interesting scenario that they find themselves in. They are hanging themselves with the rope of power they so desperately wanted. Furthermore, they are realizing, member by member, they actually have no say in when the troops come home.
