Gender specific Health Insurance ? |
| |
| I was wondering, if you are someone who is single and don't have kids, and you have the option of joining an Insurance Health plan that will be catered to your needs for less price, would you join it? Here is an example: if you are a female, your insurance company will not pay for Viagra or prostate cancer screening, but would pay for hormone therapy and breast reductions. So, instead of paying the standard $400 for private insurance, you'd pay $200, but you are the only one covered. Would you do it? Would be fair to have something like that? After all, how many other benefits do single people get? | | | | | |

| | Heya, Berlin. That doesn't sound bad, I suppose, but I would like to know more about it before committing to anything. I'm sure you understand. Butcher. | | | | | | |

| | Of course this was just an idea! I don't think there is a company that actually does that. But I think it is an option I would take advantage of. | | | |

| | Well I'm not single now as you know..But I think I could go for having that kind of insurance. It sounds good. Right now we have my husbands ins. and they take out $50.00 cause I smoke. (He is not happy with that) So do you think its unfair for the company to do that..I think so... | | | | | | |

| | See... You understand too! Now I wish that could be done somehow... I don't know if there is a special insurance like that. But I think it is a good idea. | | | |

| | I think that would be very fair. I don't want to have to pay for Viagra and I am pretty sure men would prefer not having to pay for female problems. | | | | | | |
