We actually watched this the other night. It wasn't bad but I couldn't really get into it. Just seemed to be missing something. Usually a Bond movie will draw me right in and I'm suckered. This one I could do other things and not care what was happening. Hopefully if they make another it will be better.

While the fight scenes aren't as stylized or prolific as in other Bonds (Die Another Day and Goldeneye come to mind) the overall quality of the film was surprisingly high in my opinion. The fact that the producers are exploring the facets of Bond's character in greater depth - the b&w shots at the start are a great way to set up Bond's cold ruthless nature, which we see chipped away later in the film - and going for a more realistic, less gratituous style of action movie makes for better cinema. If you just want shooting and fighting without character development, play a video game like Counterstrike=)
This film's a great improvement on the others, especially the past few Brosnan ones. Hope Daniel Craig keeps up the role=)

I agree that it's not the best but I liked it. Nice to see "early" bond.
