|  We went to Tennessee yesterday to pick up our son, and got back late last night. We are now back in Indiana, for good, LOL. No more trips, until we get a bigger place. We are staying in an apartment right now, but are moving into a house once my husband gets a few paychecks from his new job. So once we get a house, we have to go back to Tennessee to get the rest of our stuff and bring it back here. I'm just so glad we're back home. I hate riding in a car for long trips. I get tired, bored, and can't seem to sleep for more than 20 minutes. Anyone else hate car rides as much as I do? LOL

| |  I'm glad you had a safe journey. Moving is aweful, there isn't any way around it. Hopefully you will find a house soon, and it will really be all done. You never said, where about in Indiana you settled. I used to live between Louisville and Indianapolis...kind of right in the middle. I still have tons of family back there as well.

| |  Welcome home my friend and glad that you had a safe trip and that you are now back home for good. Those long drives can be very boring and tiring. I may be going on a long drive with my parents in July to North Carolina so I will need to prepare for that. Hopefully it will not be too long before you and your family will be in a nice house and enjoy life in Indiana. :-)

| |  Yep. It gets old. We always end up being the ones traveling to visit family and seeing the same 800 miles of scenery, each way, twice a year or more gets really old. We can't stand it anymore. Traveling used to be fun, but having kids that don't want to get back into the car, as well as us not wanting to be back in the car, the trips seem to take longer and longer.
Good luck finding a house! I can't wait until we can buy one of our own! :)

He knows we're going to take a trip, so he tries to fight it. Then he cries halfway down the road that he's hungry, so we stop and get him a burger and fries. He takes two bites and says "I don't want no more." GRRRR. | | | |

| |  Oh welcome back I am so happy for you and the rest of your family that you arrived safely so once again the Lord has answered my prays for you and you are back online with us once more. Oh dear well I hope that everything will work out for you and your family and hopefully it will not be too long and you will be able to find a lovely home that you feel comfortable in and go and collect your things in Tennessee and then you will feel great that everything is with you all. Oh no I love to have car rides I enjoy it a lot.
