Is the future prince's relationships more important then the troops in Iraq?  | |  I could not believe the news a couple of nights ago. The headlines were that Prince William had broken up with his girlfriend. Now dont get me wrong I follow the life of our future king closely and wish him all the best for his future happieness, but something is very wrong when on the same day this happened more Brits were killed in Iraq and this seemed to be less important than this young mans relationship. Surely this has to be wrong even for the attention seeking media.

I don't like to offend anyone but read so many news of troops dying in Iraq now while the story about Prince William is something new so would sell more. I agree with what you're saying though that the breakup does not have to be in the headlines. Now that it is out in the open I hope that the media will let them live their separate lives.

| | | 3. mnflower (940) | 1 year ago |  I believe that the princes new was new news and the iraq situation is a continuation and follow up news that happens daily the prince breaking up is something new and we need to hear something new on the news even tho we know things are happening in iraq. and everywhere else for that matter.I love the troops and back them 100 percent but we can't build our lives over every conversation on what is happening over there cause other things are happening in the world.also there was a press conference on tv about the happenings in iraq that same day scheduled.
