Malecon in Puerto Vallarta - This is the boardwalk (Malecon) along the main beachfront in downtown Puerto Vallarta. Almost every night there is some sort of event...if not just a variety of musicians, mimes and sand sculptors. At 9:00 each night, an old style Spanish galeon wooden ship cruises along the boardwalk and shoots off Disney style fireworks from the ship. The beach itself was in poor condition due to a hurricane last time I was there about 2 years ago, but that didn't seem to stop people from coming.
