Me in a sari! - This was taken last year in May on my sisters wedding. It was one of the first times that I wore an expensive indian dress which cost me over £200!!!!It was the latest style at that time too, called a butterfly sari, where the back is a different colour to the rest of the sari, and you dont have to plete it over the shoulder, as the materail has already been cut in a butterfly design, where the centre that goes on your shoulder is heavily embroidered like a big brooch! Also as I am a big lady, I had mine tailor made, where I customised the colour and the design of my sari, therefore I am confident in knowing it is a one-off piece especially for me and it fitted me perfectly! I had it done in hot pink and turquoise!! However, I went on a diet in August, where I ended up losing some weight! So when I went to wear that sari again in my friends brother wedding in October, guess what? It didnt fit! The blouse was too loose on me! Over the Christmas period though, I seem to have successfully gained the pounds back on so it probably fits me again now :( Oh well, I guess I'll have to try and go back on that diet!!
