Pieces of sculpture in Rome - These are pieces from various ancient sculptures in Rome. We climbed an enormous hill to see these - be prepared for a LOT of walking if you visit Rome, as the metro does not run all around the city. This is a courtyard in one of the museums. It was very hot, but beautiful and fascinating. You'll notice that these artefacts are treated quite casually - just propped up and not labelled, even though they're thousands of years old. This gives you an idea how many beautiful things there are in Rome.
