Post-Katrina in Mississippi

Just wanted to let everyone see what my home state still looks like after Katrina. The most recent pic here was taken right after Katrina, but nothing much has changed in the last year and a half. My husband and I drove along the beach about a week and a half ago, and it was so bare, I was almost in tears because of the change from the memories I have of the Gulf Coast as a little girl. I've heard so much about New Orleans and Katrina lately, I just wanted to remind everyone where Katrina actually hit, which was the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and that we had almost total destruction also.
