Anniversary Cake - This is a cake I made for a couple who were celebrating 60 years of marriage! I made the sides of the cake to look like basketweave, so that the layers would look like baskets stacked on top of each other. This is a scan of a poloroid picture, so the quality isn't great but at least I have a picture of it. We were trying to save a little money with it, so we went to the dollar store and found this cute dancing bear couple to put on top of the cake. It was lots of work and since this was made on a very hot day in the middle of the summer, it's a wonder it made it to the party in one piece. But it survived beautifully and the party was a big success!
