Drum mixer - This machine use for custom fabricated mixing, blending and lubrication powders or granules in pharmaceuticals and allied industries. Generally it is found in two models i.e. 200 & 350L. Drum mounted on a scientifically designed hoop for quiet and smooth rotation and proper mixing. Drum should be made of stainless steel from suitable thick sheet with air tight and easy to open lid. Sometimes Buffles are necessary. Base and frame generally made of mild steel plates and angles. Must be fitted with a gearbox to control rotation by means of matching motor. Foot brake, push button magnetic switch, neon lamps and cord should be provided. All contact surfaces should be made of stainless steel grade AISI 304 or above. Mild steel may need spray painted.
