This is a self portrait sketch of an individual who was diagnosed in 2001 with the most unforgiving and devastating mental illness called schizophrenia shortly after the horror and stress of September 11th and combined turmoil of a high college workload. This individual transfered from studying architecture to Film and Animation, Graduated with high honors to be one of the most prolific and ingenious artists among his colleagues and through spoken word. He now owns 2 profitable art related businesses, has had over a decade of professional exposure and art experience, he invents, composes music, plays several instruments including the piano/keyboard, guitar, and trumpet, he invents, writes poetry, and now has an emotional, gut-level understanding of mathematics which was hindered in high school after never passing basic Algebra. He did all of this through the power of Faith and Love and through the inspiration of John Nash's Life story as depicted through the film "A Beautiful Mind."
