Church - This is a church with a cross on top, a steeple, stained glass windows and some shrubery. A church is a building where Christians gather to take part in Sunday services to pray, praise and worship Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit. Churches hold fellowship on other days besides Sunday. Some meet on Wednesday nights for a service of refreshing for the week. There are Bible Studies, Children's and Youth Activities (Awana or Missionettes), Choir practice, fellowship lunches and dinners, and various meetings for church ministries. Some churches have outside groups use their facilities for meetings. And Vacation Bible Schools are often held in a church in the summer.
