Pooram - Temple Festival. - Most temples in Kerala, India celebrate a Pooram (annual temple festival after the summer harvest). Generally atleast one ornately decorated elephant is a must during such events. This photograph was taken at one such pooram in a small village in the Thrissur district of Kerala.
