Jake, close up portrait - Jake is a Clydesdale, and a very large one: he must be a good nineteen hands. When I groom him, I can't see his back, even standing on my toes (and I'm not short, I'm 5'6'). So, sweet boy that he is, Jake will bend a back leg and tilt his back toward me so I can brush him.
