She Got Annoyed By My Presence ...Finally! - After about 20 minutes of my jabbering like an idiot so she wouldn't be scared of me...she finally got annoyed and began to show signs of charging. Baby moose or not, she still weighs in the vicinity of 500-700lbs (About the size of a decent sized milk cow). They move extremely quickly despite their bulk so I let her walk me backwards about 100 yards. I didn't want her to think that I was threat of any kind as I plan to take many pictures of her. If she gets overly disturbed she WILL leave the park she is staying in and move to another location. This is very dangerous for young moose in Anchorage simply for the fact that they have to cross very busy roads to get where they are going. She will be safer if she stays in that woods for a couple more months til she gets over her gangly stage and moves into 'cowhood'.
