Jake, Clydesdale - The Clydesdale is a breed of draft horse, and probably the most familiar breed. The Budweiser wagon is pulled by Clydesdales. Jake is not quite that famous, but he is a regular at our local fairs and town events, as his owner 'travels the circuit' with him. Today Jake posed for pictures with a group of three and four year olds who came for a farm tour. Although he stands over 19 hands (that's horse for about 6-foot-4 at the withers/shoulders), he's one of the gentlest souls I know.
