Evelio Javier - Here's the pic of the statue of former Governor Evelio Javier at the public plaza in San Jose, Antique, Philippines. He was killed by assasins during 1986 Snap Elections because of his stance against the Marcos dictatorship. Until, now his death remains in vain because the real mastermind of his death was not punished and moreover his dreams of a progressive and united province of Antique remains to be realized.
