I have to take 3 insulin shots per day - And since the doctor has me using 70+ units of insulin at each designated time, I have to administer those shots in two shots at two different spots. The doctors told me that you should not give yourself more than 50 units of insulin into one injection site, that it won't work, everything over 50 won't be able to be processed by your body. Which means that I am giving myself 6 shots per day of insulin. I find it hard to find new injection sites! I am a pincushion.
